Return and cancellation policy

How you can cancel commissioned work or paid consultations, when cooling-off rights apply, and how refunds are calculated for consumers in the UK and EEA.

Consumer rights Cooling-off Fair process

What this policy covers

This policy applies to paid services supplied by Sparkghankle at a distance or off-premises, such as commissioned route documentation, scheduled consultation calls, or packaged walk-planning deliverables, when you act as a consumer. Business customers may be subject to separate written terms agreed at order.

Statutory cooling-off period

Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, you have fourteen calendar days from the day the contract is concluded to cancel without giving any reason, unless an exception applies (for example where you asked for urgent performance during the cooling-off period and acknowledged that your right to cancel would be lost).

Similar rights may apply under parallel rules in EEA countries when you are habitually resident there; local law may grant additional protections.

The date displayed in the hero section is the day you open this page. It does not replace any deadline calculated from contract formation; keep your own records of emails and confirmations.

How to cancel

Send a clear statement to assist@sparkghankle.world or by post to Montfichet Rd, London E20 1EJ, United Kingdom. Include your name, address, order reference, and the service purchased. You may use a cancellation form if we provide one, but it is not mandatory to use a specific template.

Refunds

If you validly cancel within the cooling-off period and no exception applies, we refund all payments received from you within fourteen days of receiving your cancellation, using the same means of payment unless you expressly agree otherwise and no fee is imposed on you.

If you requested work to begin during cooling-off with your express consent and acknowledgement that you would lose the right to cancel once the contract was fully performed, you may still owe payment for services supplied up to the time you informed us of cancellation, calculated proportionately if the price is expressed as a total for the whole service.

If the service is not as described

Consumer rights regarding conformity of services (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the UK) exist alongside this policy. If a deliverable materially fails to match what was agreed in writing, contact us with a clear description. We may offer a revised deliverable, a price reduction, or a refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Digital content

Where digital files are supplied, statutory rights apply to defective or misdescribed content. Download links may expire for security; contact us if you need a fresh link within a reasonable period after purchase.

Non-consumer orders

Business-to-business contracts are governed by the terms agreed in the order or master agreement. Where no specific return terms exist, we handle disputes in good faith and in line with applicable commercial law.
